Venture Road is the idea that when people and science from different ecosystems meet and connect, when co-creation and co-ambition come together, we move forward.
Life science breakthroughs don’t happen in isolation. They emerge through co-creation and co-ambition, when innovations find capital, when researchers and entrepreneurs share drive, and when ideas cross borders and spark momentum.
Venture Road exists to make these connections visible and tangible. We tell the stories, create the encounters, and build the bridges that turn potential into progress.
The project is driven by Ventures Accelerated and Phosworks — combining growth expertise with creative storytelling to inspire collaboration across continents.

The journeys
Venture Road Nordics took place in December during Nobel Week 2025, connecting Nordic excellence with North American innovation through thought leader sessions, Nobel lectures, and evening galas.
Venture Road California began the movement when Nordic innovators met investors, labs, and partners who share their vision for global impact. And ending in the best Cali style: a BBQ on the beach.
Venture Road UK will take place 7-12 June 2026, connecting Nordic excellence with British innovation through thought leader sessions.

In July 2025 we spent a week with Nordic entrepreneurs, scientists, and investors exploring California’s life science and capital ecosystem. Through interviews and encounters, we learned how ideas travel, grow, and gain momentum.

In December 2025, during the Nobel week, US companies joined us in the Nordics. It was a unique mix of cutting-edge science and global celebration, part lab, part gala, designed to deepen co-creation and co-ambition between regions.

In June 2026 a Nordic delegation of life science innovators will travel to the United Kingdom.
The initiative is designed to strengthen collaboration around precision health.
During the program, participants will meet research institutions, companies and innovation organizations across the UK’s Golden Triangle life science cluster connecting Oxford, Cambridge and London.
The initiative was officially launch with a reception at the British Embassy in Stockholm, bringing together Nordic and UK leaders in life science ahead of the June delegation.
